Information For Referrers

Hunter Catarct and Eye Centre is dedicated to providing high quality eye services.

To this end we aim to provide a service that you should be happy to utilise and be happy to recommend.

New Referrals

Appointments can be made several ways. Post, Phone, Fax, Email, Medical Objects, Oculo and Online form.

It is always helpful to give an indication of urgency so patients are triaged appropriately.

Urgent Patients

Patients requiring urgent attention can be seen the same day, just call or send a fax marked urgent. We do allocate urgent slots every day so that there is always capacity for patients to be seen.

Services

Eye patients of all kinds can be reviewed at HCEC as we provide a comprehensive ophthalmic service.

We have state of the art equipment, so that all investigation is done in house. We do have a minor operating theatre which is utilised for minor eye procedures, eyelid surgery and intravitreal injections.

Our clinic is fully wheelchair compliant, with flat access to all areas.
